Aerospace Open Innovation Challenge 2026

APPLICATION PHASE
2 February 2026 - 17 April 2026
The application phase will run from 2 February 2026 and will end on 17 April 2026 at 23:59pm (SGT/GMT+8).
Criteria for Application
The criteria for the application phase are as follows:
- Register on the platform.
- Select a challenge statement to address.
- Complete the participation form.
- Submit a 5 to 10 slide PDF proposal deck, including the following details:
- Details of Applicant
- Executive Summary: In less than 500 words, provide a summary of the solution, technology and deliverables. This should include the tangible and intangible outcomes of the project.
- Detailed project proposal, including:
- Technical feasibility of solution and unique facets.
- Effectiveness in addressing the challenge
- Potential benefits
- Operational feasibility
- Business feasibility of solution
- Capacity and expertise to execute
- Details on POC/MVP if applicable; Desired deliverables/milestones and outcomes of projects.
- Ability to Execute: Provide details of your organisation’s expertise and experience along with a commercialisation plan if applicable.
You are welcome to tackle multiple challenge statements by creating new participations, should you have more than one solution to submit!
The deadline for the submission will be on 17 April 2026 at 23:59pm (SGT/GMT+8). Please note that all the deliverables must be submitted in English.

SHORTLISTING PHASE
5-22 May 2026
The shortlisting of participants will conclude by 22 May 2026.
During this phase, challenge statement owners will evaluate the proposals and the most innovative solutions will be selected to proceed to the clarification phase.
Shortlisting criteriaInnovators will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Technical Feasibility of solution and novelty (40%)
- Business feasibility of solution (30%)
- Capacity and Expertise to execute projects (20%)
- Clarity & Comprehensiveness of proposal and test plans (10%)

CLARIFICATION PHASE
25 May 2026 - 12 June 2026
Clarification phase will conclude by 12 June 2026.
During this phase, our challenge statement owners will conduct 1-to-1 sessions with shortlisted participants for further discussion and clarification, e.g. via online calls or through the challenge platform.

FINAL SELECTION
End of June 2026
Finalists will showcase their proposals to the challenge owners.
Innovators may commence discussion with their respective challenge owners on the next steps if challenge statement owners perceive a greater potential for further collaboration.
